Kenny

WOULD Crocodile Dundee have been such a worldwide smash 21 years ago without the Australian accent - and the fact that star Paul Hogan co-wrote the script?

The same goes for Kenny Smyth. Blessed with dungarees and a speech impediment, he's an equally fun larger-than-life character played by Shane Jacobson who co-wrote Kenny with his brother, Clayton, who directs.

A fun mockumentary about a man working for a portable loo company, the comedy really benefits from Jacobson's intonation.

"It takes a certain kind of person to do what I do," he says. "No one's ever impressed, no one's ever fascinated."

But that's what makes ordinary people special.

Contending with family problems and the public's rudeness, Kenny is also searching for love.

And he finds a chance of happiness when he least expects it.
