Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden

MORGAN Spurlock deservedly won an Oscar nomination for his film about the perils of fast food, Super Size Me.

Now he's back... on the rather spurious trail of the world's most wanted terrorist.

There was next to no chance of him finding the international man of mystery of course.

But that's not the point. It's the journey into his mindset which counts for Spurlock, as perceived through the peoples of different cultures who you may or may not expect to sympathise with Bin Laden.

Once again, Spurlock is at the heart of the picture.

He reckons the lesson from big action movies is that one man on his own is as good a way as any.

Quickly making you feel that he's putting his health at risk, he learns about the dangers of the vaccines he'll need to travel widely to being trained how to survive hand grenades. Although one suspects he was never at more real risk than Princes Harry and William probably were in Afghanistan, you still have to admire his bottle. At the heart of his campaign is a willingness to avoid selecting George Bush as an easy target, but to consider more the future of the world and how things are going to move on.

Spurlock for president?

Probably not with that facial fuzz.
