THE daughter of Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle, and sister of Rufus, showcases her new album, I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too, the follow-up to her critically acclaimed self-titled 2005 debut.
Contributors include The Who's Pete Townshend, The Band's Garth Hudson and Steely Dan's Donald Fagen.
The chances of any of them turning up to join Martha on the Symphony Hall stage are slim but Wainwright family concerts at the Birmingham venue are full of surprises. When Loudon last performed at Symphony Hall a fight broke out in the audience and at one of Rufus' city gig he stripped down to his underpants!
