Pogues spread festive cheer

CHRISTMAS must be coming - The Pogues have announced their sixth annual festive tour.

As much a part of Christmas as turkey and stuffing, The Pogues will embark again on some very special seasonal dates, including Birmingham Carling Academy on December 15.

Using traditional Irish folk, punk and classic songwriting to create the party atmosphere of St Patrick’s Day in December, the band always attract a partisan crowd.

It has already been a busy year for them with a host of festival dates, including T in the Park and the V Festival.

Tickets for the Birmingham show are £29.50 from 0844 477 2000.
