Dick Whittington, Norbury Theatre, Droitwich

THIS is a delightful pantomime, full of fun - and particularly interesting because the jokes are shared among so many in the company. They don't always work as they should, particularly in the case of Steve Carley (Idle Jack), who speaks too quickly and without enough flamboyance, although he otherwise enters wholeheartedly into the action.

Natalie Bull, too, could bring a bigger flourish to Dick Whittington. She seemed a little uncomfortable on the first night in her only thigh-slapping moment.

There's a splendid dame in Chris Wiltshire and Tony Catchpowle is a suitably horrid King Rat.

Vivienne Bull's attractive production runs until Saturday.
