New play from Company of the Curtain

THE Company of the Curtain's next play runs until February 8 at the Parish Hall, Water Orton.

The Company has a long history of popular and successful play enjoyed by a wide audience.

This latest production is Curtain Up on Murder by Bettine Manktelow.

A theatre company are rehearsing their latest play at the end of a pier on a stormy night. There is the sound of a scream and a falling body. From then on things go from bad to worse. The murders mount up but how and why?

The play may be an amateur production but as always there is a high standard of acting. If we have a paying audience then they deserve the best. The Company is constantly trying to encourage up and coming young members and this is the case in this Production with three youth group members giving a very promising contribution.

Rob Alexander the producer has a wide range of experience both acting and producing throughout the midlands. This promises to be another successful play.

Tickets are available from 0121 747 2139.
