Dave Willetts stars in South Pacific

BIRMINGHAM-BORN actor Dave Willetts leads the cast for the touring production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic South Pacific at Wolverhampton next week.

Dave is joined by Helena Blackman, runner-up in the television talent search How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? in the wartime romance romp.

With a host of well-known songs such as Some Enchanted Evening, Younger Than Springtime, There is Nothing Like a Dame and I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair, South Pacific is one of the most popular musicals by Rodgers and Hammerstein. It tells the story of the unlikely romance between local landowner Emile de Becque and wartime nurse Nellie Forbush.
