Playhouse Disney Live On Tour, NIA, Birmingham

CHILDREN'S favourites such as Mickey Mouse, Tigger and Pooh all feature in this stadium-sized show, as well as lesser known characters like Handy Manny, Little Einsteins and Darby.

The idea of a round-the-world rocket tour to explore different styles of music is sound.

But with the central storyline proving to be as weak as water, much more could have been made of the musical aspect to compensate.

Excluding the interval, the two-part show runs for around an hour and performs twice-daily till Sunday (three shows on Saturday).
