Diary, Dancexchange

BILLED as 'dance for teenagers', this is a show that had me pondering: what constitutes dance for teens?

In the event the answer is short, funny, visual, very active and interactive. There is very much a sense that this show has been designed to tick all of the boxes.

A cast of seven look at love from all angles using dance, movement, dialogue, film and song taking us through every scenario possible.

New love is evoked as a couple can't keep their hands - and lips - off each other. Triangle love sees one man pulled between two women. Frustration at the lover appears with sharp angry movements. Hopeless love is a woman alone.

Hitting us on every level, this may have been designed for a younger audience but even us not-so teenage could respond.
