Dancers perform classic fairy tale
MAGIC and fairy tale comes to Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre next week when Birmingham Royal Ballet perform Beauty and the Beast.
Created by the company’s director David Bintley, the ballet blends romance, humour and a tinge of the sinister as the classic story unfolds.
When Belle’s father plucks a rose at the Beast’s castle he is told the only way he can save his life is to forfeit his daughter to live the rest of her days with the mysterious creature.
But can Belle learn that beauty is only skin deep and can the Beast tame his temper to win her heart?
